Meet Diahni Sample: Inspirational Speaker, Travel Agent & Business Mentor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Diahni Sample and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Diahni, we’d love to hear what makes you happy.
What makes me happy is truly being able to live my life on my terms. I find happiness in knowing that I never gave up on my dreams and I continue to find a deeper love for my passion. Passion is what drives true purpose and work ethic. For myself, If I didn’t have a passion for speaking and inspiring women to love themselves unconditionally, then I wouldn’t be able to build a platform and truly inspire the women around me.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Female Boss Collection is a collection of different apparel, writing services & business startup mentorship to help women of all ages shift their mindset to be a boss. I believe that when we dress and take the time to invest into our dreams, we express the love and confidence within. Every woman can boss up & feel like a queen at all times if she starts to love on herself unconditionally and spread love to the women around her.

I am most proud of the women who have started their businesses from the ground up after working with FBC.

I got to where I am today by writing resumes and editing essays for my peers. I gave myself a name as the resume writer with the best prices at the time and my age definitely brought in clientele. I expanded my vision to becoming a speaker at different events, schools and platforms to share my story of young entrepreneurship and self love. FBC was born through speaking because the more events I attended and the more women I connected with inspired me to want to become a resource for these women when going after their dreams.

Of course it wasn’t easy. There was a time when I didn’t have money to invest in myself. A time when family told me my dream was temporary. A time when I felt I wasn’t qualified to inspire anyone because I didn’t love myself. A time when I only started for the money and didn’t become successful at all. Hince to why I relaunched FBC 3 times before seeing real sales to maintain the business. I’ve learned to show up as my most authentic self. I learned to speak life into myself at all times so I could tune out the outside opinions and distractions. I learned that everything I believe I deserve is within reach when I show up everyday.

I want the world to know that my story can be relatable to yours. I want you to believe in yourself even through the storm and see FBC as a living example that you can find your purpose and create your own legacy.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the GA aquarium, centennial olympic park, botanical gardens, american deli in cumberland mall and chickfila for sure lol.

I’m still in the process of exploring atlanta myself since I was a child, so for me these are the most common spots.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to give a shoutout to Mrs Deborah for being the first woman to fund my first empowerment event when she didn’t know who I was. She sponsored my dream and it makes me feel believed in.

I would love to give a shoutout to my lifetime partner Kiara (braidsbykeeks) and my lifetime sister Bria for being the consistent reminders and manifestors for my vision and elevation. You’ve guys seen me cry and smile for my dreams. They have always poured into my vision when I couldn’t see growth in myself.

I would love to shoutout to Krystin &  Destiny (Desczn) for always clapping for me when I get up on stage to do what I love and reminding me that I inspire those around me without even knowing it.

I would love to give a shoutout to all of the female bosses who have liked, commented, messaged, shoutout out, recommended and shown up for me with events, videos and more. There are too many names to name, so the list would be too long so I love you all.
