We asked experts from a broad range of industries to open up to us about things they know about their industry but that we probably don’t and we’ve shared some of those responses below.

Outsiders do not understand how much goes into being a Chef. It takes time, hard work, and a lot of long days. Its more than just putting pretty food on a plate. Its creating recipes, working holidays, and missing out on those fun nights out. Your hands, feet, and back will be destroyed eventually. I’m 25 and I already have problems with my back and feet lol! It’s a lot on your body mentally and physically. On my off days my mind is still working and thinking of new recipes. There’s hardly a break. Chefs sometimes go hours without eating or getting a bathroom break. Especially during a rush. Outsiders aren’t aware of how much food cost. Good quantity ingredients cost money! Being a woman in a kitchen of men can get hard. You’re bound to get crazy remarks, belittlement, and remarks about being a woman in general. It also can get really annoying rejecting dates every day. I feel that many people don’t understand the magnitude in the time and effort it takes for an author to write novels. As an author, we really have to step outside of ourselves and become the characters that we are writing about. In a sense, it’s kind of like we are silent actors. Many days, I’ve had to literally sit in front of my laptop and physically play out some of my characters roles, in order for me to correctly interpret and write their dialogue. Also, many scenes that authors write are very intense, causing for some authors to become entirely too emotionally invested in their work. There were plenty of moments where I’ve had to step away from my own work for a few days because of how it was emotionally impacting me. Read more>>

The thing that surprises people about virtual fitness is how much preparation it takes to execute the best virtual experience. When preparing to do fitness videos pre-recorded or live, it takes an enormous amount of preparation to ensure that the experience is well balanced and complete in every way. It takes a huge amount of detail to make sure that the set and the instructor experience connects to the audience. Keeping them engaged while delivering exceptional training, instruction and/or experience is quite the task! Thanks to our time of doing virtual fitness before the pandemic we are able to execute our video delivery flawlessly.
