We had the good fortune of connecting with Quinton Butler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Quinton, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was the type of person that always wanted to work for myself or partner with someone who was like minded. In 2019 I partnered with Cory Ricks and we started a label Kingdom Wealth Music and Christian Royalty Clothing line.

What should our readers know about your business?
Kingdom Wealth Music is a inspirational record label that will bring a new sound to the world and deliver a positive message for our children. Christian Royalty is a Christian Base Clothing line that will have it’s own unique style. Cory Ricks is the main artist on our label, his music has a inspirational message for Adults as well as children. Myself & Cory connected from growing up in New Orleans on Louisiana Ave Parkway. We were both in the music industry in the past. I was with No Limit Records and Cory model for Roc A Wear Clothing for Jay Z. We both had a change of heart and thought we need to lean towards the youth. They need to hear a better message to help them see life in a different perspective. We came up with a brand that represents who we are in Christ. We had a few challenges in the business in the beginning, but we always keep a positive outlook and live by the saying when one door closes another door opens.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If someone was to come to Atlanta I will show them all of the historical places. One example would be all the MLK landmarks. I don’t drink but my go to places to eat are Pappadeaux, Capers, Chicago Pizza and Capital Grill. I’m a big kid at heart so I enjoy skating with my family at Sparkles because it also has games, laser tag and a indoor playground. Which is important because our children ages range from 4-18. Six flags, white waters, Dave & Buster’s & Andretti’s are great family fun places. Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank God for allowing me to do what I enjoy. I would love to thank my wife Rayna Butler and children for always allowing me to live my dreams to the fullest. Doing business with Cory Ricks was the best decision I could have ever made. We have an amazing team to help us grow these businesses.
