We had the good fortune of connecting with Miracle Weeks and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Miracle, why did you pursue a creative career?
Both my heart and mind have always gravitated more towards the arts. Growing up, the subjects that I was strongest at and connected most with in school were ones that fell under the arts. I also remember being only eight years old and searching for behind the scenes clips of my favorite tv shows and movies on YouTube. Then, and even now, I am interested in all artistical things beyond surface level. I love seeing how art comes to be, and I love being a part of the process.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As a digital creator, I acknowledge the fact that there are thousands of other people who do exactly what I do. What separates me, though, is the angle that I approach and the specific audience that I target. My content is inspired by the musicians that I love, and I create content that helps fuel the hearts of fanbases. I am a fangirl through and through, so it’s easy for me to connect with people who love the same thing(s) that I do. I’m still a small creator, so every single view, like, comment, etc. makes me happy. I feel the proudest when people make positive comments about my skills or tell me that they’ve watched my video x number of times. I am still growing and learning, but everything that I have done thus far has come from a place of genuine love and passion, and I will continue to work that way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
As cliche as it may sound, I always recommend Ponce City Market. Atlanta is such a diverse place, and you get a really good sense of that from Ponce alone. There is such a variety of food spots from different cultures, and lots of stores that you won’t be able to find anywhere else. Theres truly something for everyone, and the views from the rooftop are phenomenal.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shoutout out my high school theater teacher, Dr. Grazier. High school was extremely rough for me mentally, and my self-esteem was the lowest it had ever been. I doubted every single thing about myself, including my abilities as an artist. Dr Grazier helped break me out of the shell that I forced myself in and made me believe that anything was possible. Her kindness and wisdom helped carry me through school, and I still hold every word that she has ever murmured to me extremely close to my heart as a young adult.
