Meet Gabrielle Simone | Interior Designer + Event Planner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Gabrielle Simone and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Gabrielle, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Yes, Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It’s more than just a favorite verse; it’s the foundation of my mindset. My name, Gabrielle, means “God is my strength,” so this scripture feels like a personal affirmation rooted in my identity. What I love most about it is the clarity and confidence it gives me. To me, it’s a powerful reminder that I am never alone in my journey. When I set a vision, such as building my business, I move with the unshakable belief that there are no limits. It teaches me that what I believe, I can achieve, especially when I align my purpose with faith.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business, Blossom and Bloom, began as a virtual interior design studio with one clear mission: to create intentional, elevated spaces that reflect who people are and how they live. From the start, I focused on more than just beautiful decor. I wanted every room to tell a story, to feel like home, and to bring both peace and functionality into people’s lives.
But a few months after launching, I realized something: I was just as passionate and naturally gifted when it came to planning and designing events. Whether it was intimate gatherings or creative celebrations, I saw the same opportunity to transform spaces and create memorable experiences. So I expanded Blossom and Bloom to offer both interior design and event planning services, combining the two worlds in a way that feels seamless and true to who I am.
What sets my brand apart is the intention behind every detail. Whether I’m designing a living room or curating the vibe for a special event, I focus on how people will feel in the space. I offer a hands-on, boutique experience that blends professionalism with warmth, creativity with strategy. My clients aren’t just receiving a service, they’re receiving an experience that reflects their vision and values.
I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come, especially without a traditional background in design or events. Starting Blossom and Bloom wasn’t easy. There were seasons of self-doubt, late nights, and figuring things out as I went. But what kept me going was my deep belief that I was meant to do this and that my creative gifts were worth sharing.
Some of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way:
– Start with what you have; clarity grows through action.
– Don’t box yourself in. You’re allowed to evolve.
– And above all, honor your unique eye; your perspective is your power.
At the heart of Blossom and Bloom is a love for transformation. Whether it’s a space, a moment, or a mindset, I want people to walk away feeling elevated, seen, and inspired. My story is still unfolding, but I’m proud of every chapter I’ve written so far.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting for a week, I’d plan a luxurious, well-rounded itinerary filled with great food, Black-owned gems, a touch of wine country, and unforgettable experiences.
Day 1: Welcome to the A
We’d kick off the trip with a stylish dinner at C&S Seafood & Oyster Bar. It’s chic, the seafood is top-tier, and it’s the perfect place to ease into the week with martinis and great conversation. Afterward, we’d do a late-night dessert run to Jenni’s.
Day 2: ATL Culture & Comfort
We’d spend the day exploring the High Museum of Art, followed by lunch from Mr. Diddy’s Southern Cuisine. The evening would be reserved for a wine tasting at Divinely Elegant Vines, a Black owned wine tasting room with great vibes and an intentional energy I love to support.
Day 3: Wellness + Wine
Time to unwind! We’d start with a morning yoga or Pilates class, followed by a spa day at The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead for a full body reset. Then we’d drive out to Château Élan Winery & Resort for the afternoon and evening, sip wine, stroll the vineyard, and dine on-site. It’s like a mini getaway tucked just outside the city.
Day 4: Boutique Shopping + Rooftop Energy
We’d visit cute boutiques and interior stores. For lunch: Toast on Lenox if we’re feeling casual and fun. That night, we’d head to catch a show at Cobb Centre or Fox Theater. Enjoy a show and drinks.
Day 5: Nature & Hidden Gems
We’d do a nature walk or picnic at Piedmont Park. Then grab an early dinner at Little Alley Steakhouse. After dinner, we might hit Red Phone Booth for a speakeasy experience.
Day 6: Brunch + Art Vibes
No Atlanta week is complete without brunch. We’d hit Saints + Council for an elevated brunch vibe. Then check out maybe a candle-making or sip-and-paint class for fun. For evening plans, a fancy dinner at Marcel, followed by live music that may be going on for the week.
Day 7: Slow Sunday Farewell
We’d slow it down with a final brunch at First Watch and spend the afternoon at Ponce City Market, take in the BeltLine, and soak up the energy of the city. A glass of wine to close out the week, reflecting on memories made.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without question, I want to dedicate my shoutout to my mother and grandmother, the two women who laid the foundation for everything I am becoming. My grandmother was the original visionary. She had a bold spirit and an eye for excellence that lived in the smallest details, from how she dressed to how she kept her home. Without ever needing to say it, she showed me that elegance, pride, and strength could live side by side. She embodied resilience and left behind a legacy of care, faith, and grace that shaped the very essence of our family. And my mother, she’s been my example of persistence and unconditional love. A mother who never stopped pushing, never stopped praying, and never let me forget that I was capable of more. She always made room for my creativity to thrive, even when resources were limited. She poured into me in ways I didn’t fully understand until I became a woman myself. They both taught me the power of vision, the beauty of community, and the importance of making space unique.
