We had the good fortune of connecting with Candra Ravariere and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Candra, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
I do! It’s actually a verse from the Bible. Isaiah 60:22, “when the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
It’s both a reminder and motivator for me. As a creative, at times you can feel like nothing is working or nothing is sticking and gaining traction. I actually found out about this verse when I just started creating content but I never applied it to the area of my life.
This verse for me and any other creative that’s out there reading this , is a reminder that what’s for you, won’t pass you by. It may not happen in the timing that you want it to but if this is truly a desire and dream of yours , it’ll happen, it’s just a matter of time. Keep creating, keep posting.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is my ability to make people feel seen , especially my 20 something girlies, whether it’s about curls, relationships, or just navigating life as a 20s.
One thing I’m most proud of is staying consistent when it feels like no one’s watching , because if you know me , you know when I don’t see results I’m quick to think whatever it is is not for me.

Balancing a full-time job and content creation has not been easy. There were plenty of nights I was exhausted, questioning if it was even worth it. I started shifting how I spent my time from consuming content to creating. That small mindset shift helped me to build momentum on my social media platforms. With that, I learned that the results don’t always come right away but the discipline and growth do.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that consistency is louder than perfection. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start just start it please, I beg.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I’m building something real. I’m speaking to people who are still figuring life out who wants to feel connected, seen, and inspired. This isn’t just about aesthetics it’s about storytelling, growth, and community. When it comes to my social media, especially on TikTok, my audience knows that I am heavy on community.
Professionally, I’ve gotten to where I am by stepping outside my comfort zone and being willing to figure things out as I go. There’s this one TikTok creator who says each post on social media is like buying a lottery ticket. The more you post the higher the probability to gain a community, be in rooms that you’ve never even imagined, and have access to certain experiences. This is what I want for my life and I’ll encourage all the other small content creators to aim for this also!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to give a shoutout to my parents (Efrem & Sandy), my sister (Cleo), my friends (Tori, Amari, Hannah, & Shalayah), my boyfriend (Aaron), and the coworkers, past and present, who’ve motivated me to step outside my bubble and chase bigger dreams. The people who see the light in me before I even recognize it. I also want to thank Cass & Crew who see the grind, speak like into my journey, and push me to keep going on the hard days. The love from all of you is top tier! Your support means more than you’ll ever know!
