Meet Taurea Avant | Book Profiting & Marketing Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Taurea Avant and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taurea, do you disagree with some advice that is more or less universally accepted?
We live in a world where titles like “doctor,” “coach,” and “bestselling author” carry a lot of weight. And while there’s nothing wrong with wanting recognition, sometimes we get so focused on chasing titles that we forget what really matters. I’ve seen people invest thousands—sometimes over $2,500—for honorary doctorates or curated bestseller campaigns. And while those things can feel like a huge achievement, it’s important to pause and ask: is the title what truly defines the value we bring?
As someone who works closely with authors and coaches, I know how tempting it is to aim for “bestseller” status. But let’s be honest—outside of the New York Times or a few other credible lists, many of these titles are more about marketing strategies than actual impact. Often, the companies behind them benefit more than the author, walking away with the leads, the profits, and the attention.
At the end of the day, titles can open doors—but they don’t replace the power of real transformation. What truly lasts is how we show up, who we serve, and the legacy we build through our work. Impact will always matter more than a label.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is all about helping authors, speakers, and coaches turn their books into profitable brands. I founded Book Profits Club™ to give authors the tools, strategies, and visibility they need to earn $10K+ per month by leveraging their story, expertise, and purpose. What sets us apart is that we don’t stop at publishing—we teach our clients how to monetize, market, and maximize their message in a way that builds real business success.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the transformation we’ve created through Book Profits Club™, Author Allstars™, and now the T² Impact Network—our television network designed to help visionaries amplify their message on a global scale. We’ve helped thousands of authors go from “just a book” to international impact and consistent income. Seeing their growth and confidence is what fuels me.
Now let me be clear—it wasn’t easy. Building this wasn’t overnight. There were challenges, doubt, delays, and learning curves. But I learned to pivot quickly, stay rooted in purpose, and surround myself with people who believe in the mission. Every tough season taught me how to lead better, build smarter, and serve deeper.
What I want the world to know is this: I didn’t build Book Profits Club™ and Author Allstars™ just to help people become authors—I built them to help people build legacy. Your book is more than pages—it’s a platform. And when used correctly, it can open doors you never imagined. That’s the heartbeat of my brand and the foundation of my story.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It would have to be Ghana. I’ve now visited Ghana four times, and every single trip leaves me more inspired than the last. And no, it’s not just the glow from the sun—it’s the glow from the people. The hustle in their spirit, the humility in their hearts, the love they show so effortlessly… and yes, the food is absolutely amazing.
There’s something powerful about being in Ghana. It’s vibrant, it’s alive, and it’s grounding. I always tell people: everyone should visit at least once. I’d love for more of my friends to come with me, though I’m grateful that many of our Book Profits Club™ members have already made the trip—or are planning to.
One thing I’ve always experienced while there is a strong sense of safety. Despite it being considered a third-world country, I’ve never felt unsafe. In fact, it’s quite humbling. The people of Ghana are resilient, resourceful, and always working—not in a shady hustle kind of way, but in a determined, purpose-driven grind.
Ghana is truly a beautiful country in every sense of the word, and I feel blessed every time I get to go back.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely—success is never a solo journey, and I’m incredibly grateful for the people and organizations who’ve poured into me along the way. First and foremost, I have to give a big shoutout to my Book Profits Club community. They are more than just clients—they’re visionaries who inspire me daily to keep showing up and creating tools that truly serve.
I also want to recognize my mentors and role models—leaders like Lisa Nichols, Les Brown, and Myron Golden—who’ve paved the way and reminded me of the power of using your voice to create impact.
And of course, I’m thankful for my close friends, family, and team who consistently support the vision. Their belief in me, even during the early days, played a huge part in helping me become the woman and leader I am today.
