Meet Sasha A

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha A and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sasha, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I love helping small businesses and artist grow in a creative and authentic way. As a creative myself, I realized how powerful social media can be when it comes to building a strong online presence and truly connecting with an audience. My thought process was simple but intentional—I wanted to blend my passion for storytelling, branding, and digital design into something that could support other entrepreneurs in bringing their vision to life. Starting my own business as a social media manager gave me the freedom to not only express my creativity but also to make a real impact by helping others show up confidently and professionally online. I knew that if I could support businesses in telling their story the right way, they could attract the right audience—and thrive. It’s more than marketing to me—it’s about heart, alignment, and building something meaningful, both for myself and the clients I serve.

Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way? What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
No—it definitely hasn’t been easy. I’ve had to navigate the challenges of managing a Tri-Career, holding a degree in psychology and working with children with special needs, while also building my own business as a social media manager—and pursuing my passion as an actor (@iamSashaA). Juggling all three has required deep commitment, time management, and a whole lot of faith.
There were moments where I questioned whether I was doing too much, but I’ve learned that I’m multi-passionate for a reason. Each role fulfills a different part of me. Acting allows me to express, connect, and tell meaningful stories. My psychology work grounds me in empathy and service. And my business allows me to be creative while helping other brands grow and shine. The biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way are to trust my own timing, give myself grace, and honor the full range of who I am. You don’t have to fit into one box—you can thrive in more than one lane if your heart is in it.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that everything I do comes from a place of passion and purpose. I help people show up boldly and beautifully—whether it’s on camera, in business, or in life. My story is layered, authentic, and still unfolding—and I hope it encourages others to pursue their path fearlessly, no matter how many titles they carry.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit Atlanta, I’d make sure she would experienced the soul, color, and creativity this city has to offer. Atlanta is vibrant—from the street art to the music, the culture, and the food—and I’d want every day to feel like a blend of inspiration, fun, and real southern flavor.
Day 1 – Welcome to the A!
We’d kick off with brunch at Breakfast at Barney’s—you can’t visit ATL and not have shrimp and grits or their famous gold pancakes. Then we’d head to Ponce City Market to explore the rooftop for games, skyline views, and a little shopping.
Day 2 – BeltLine Day (My Fave!)
We’d spend the day walking the Atlanta BeltLine, which is one of my absolute favorite places. It’s colorful, artistic, and full of life—perfect for photos, inspiration, and people-watching. We’d grab smoothies or fresh juices from a local vendor and take in the murals and pop-up performers.
Day 3 – Culture & History
We’d visit a Museum and then swing by a few historical sites for a meaningful and powerful experience. Next, dinner at a great soul food restaurant.
Day 4 – Farmer’s Market + Nature Escape
We’d start at Dekalb Farmers Market to grab fresh fruits, veggies, and maybe some flowers. Then spend the afternoon at Piedmont Park relaxing with a picnic, soaking in the greenery, and maybe renting bikes or scooters.
Day 5 – Black Excellence & Night Vibes
We’d support Black-owned businesses all day—stopping by Slutty Vegan, shopping at The Village Market, and ending with a late dinner and cocktails. Music, good food, and even better vibes.
Day 6 – Film, Fashion, and Chill
A chill day checking out local boutiques, maybe stopping by Tyler Perry Studios for photos if possible. We’d explore some indie art galleries or check out a live show in Little Five Points.
Day 7 – Spa + Sunset Send-Off
To close out the trip, we’d enjoy a spa morning—maybe at Jeju Sauna or pedicures at my favorite salon—then wrap it all up with sunset views and dinner.
Atlanta is full of color, culture, creativity, and community. From fresh produce to fresh perspectives, it’s a city that feeds every part of you—and I’d want my best friend to leave inspired, full, and already planning her next trip back.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. I want to honor my grandfather, who is a true example of resilience and entrepreneurship. With just an eighth-grade education, he successfully opened several businesses that not only provided for his family but also helped put his children through college, bought cars, and created a stable, loving home. His work ethic, determination, and unwavering belief in providing for his family have deeply inspired me. His legacy reminds me that success isn’t just about education or resources—it’s about heart, hustle, and vision.
I am thankful because my own bloodline—it has played a big role in shaping the woman and business owner I am today.
