Meet Rhonda Spratt | Nonprofit Founder, Bella Luve’ Goes Pink, Inc.

We had the good fortune of connecting with Rhonda Spratt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rhonda, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I’m inspired by resilience; the quiet, powerful kind that reveals itself when life is at its hardest. Losing my mother to metastatic breast cancer at just 50 years old changed everything for me. It taught me that while grief is deeply personal, it also holds the potential to awaken something greater: purpose. For me, that purpose became Bella Luve’ Goes Pink, Inc., a nonprofit I founded in her honor. Through this journey, I’ve learned how faith and compassion can carry you through grief and ultimately transform pain into purpose.
While my personal experience fuels me, I’m especially inspired by the strength of women affected by breast cancer.; women who find the courage to continue nurturing their families, lead with grace, uplift their communities, and still find the courage to show up for themselves. The kind of strength I witnessed in my mother, and continue to see in every woman we serve through Bella Luve’ Goes Pink Inc.
Whether I’m curating a Pink Self-Care Box for a woman in recovery or designing meaningful experiences through, Bella Luve’ Events by Design, I’m constantly inspired by the courage of women to heal out loud.
Bella Luve’ Goes Pink was born at the intersection of heartbreak and hope. It’s my promise to keep my mother’s memory alive through advocacy, action and compassion. And it’s a testament to what can happen when you choose to rise from that space where heartbreak met hope. It’s my way of turning loss into light and honoring her legacy.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work with Bella Luve’ Goes Pink is deeply personal and purpose-driven. What sets us apart is that we’re not just raising awareness; we are providing tangible support for women navigating the difficult journey of breast cancer. From preparing Pink Self-Care Boxes filled with carefully selected items that nurture and uplift survivors, we aim to ensure the women know they are ‘seen’ and valued. Bella Luve’ Goes Pink, Inc. was created with a boutique soul- personal, intentional and rooted in compassion.
I’m most proud of how our nonprofit has grown from a deeply personal loss into a beacon of hope and encouragement for women. Every story I hear of a woman feeling supported or empowered fuels my passion to keep pushing forward.
Building this nonprofit from the ground up came with challenges, from limited resources to navigating the right direction as the organization evolved. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of connection through partnerships. No one succeeds alone and I’ve realized I don’t have to carry the mission alone, nor should I. In the beginning, I often relied on my own funds to keep things afloat, but over time, I’ve learned the importance of reaching out, asking for support, and inviting others to be a part of the impact. My faith and a steadfast belief in our mission helped me push through obstacles. I’ve learned that resilience isn’t just about enduring; it’s about showing up, trusting the process, and leading with heart, even when the path forward isn’t clear.
What I want the world to know about me and Bella Luve’ Goes Pink is that we are a labor of love born from loss but fueled by hope. Our mission is to wrap women in compassion during their hardest times. Through this work, I strive to honor my mother’s legacy by helping others find light in their own healing journeys.
If you’re moved by our mission, I invite you to join us whether by making a donation, purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List, or simply sharing our story.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting Atlanta for a week, I’d plan a mix of rest, culture, and connection with a little ‘Pink’ flair, of course.
We’d start with dinner at Canoe, then spend the next day unwinding at The Spa at The Whitley, followed by shopping and rooftop views at Ponce City Market.
A visit to The High Museum of Art and journaling in Piedmont Park would feed our creative sides, and we’d possibly attend a midweek gospel service for spiritual refueling.
We’d grab dinner at Twisted Soul. For fun we’d catch a movie and popcorn at an AMC theater. One day would be dedicated to packing Pink Self-Care Boxes for Bella Luve’ Goes Pink.
We’d close the trip with brunch at Breakfast at Barney’s and I’d send her off with a little pink box of her own, because every woman deserves to feel seen and celebrated.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout first and foremost to my late mother, Theola, whose strength, love, and courage continue to inspire everything I do. Her battle with metastatic breast cancer and the grace she showed through that journey planted the seed for Bella Luve’ Goes Pink and my mission to uplift and support women facing breast cancer.
Along this journey, I’ve been fortunate to have the support of a few family members who serve on our board and share in this vision. I also want to shoutout and heartfelt thanks to the organizations that have partnered with Bella Luve’ Goes Pink, Inc., including Kendra Scott, Stitch Fix, and the Center for Black Women’s Wellness, for helping us expand our reach and impact.
