Meet Trinity Davis | Founder and owner of Trindy Cosmetics

We had the good fortune of connecting with Trinity Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Trinity, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind the success of Trindy Cosmetics is my faith in God and His guidance throughout this journey. From the very beginning, I’ve relied on prayer and trust in His plan, especially during moments when the path felt uncertain. Starting and growing a brand is full of risks, whether it was stepping out to launch the brand, making decisions that felt bigger than me, or pushing past doubts. But believing in a bigger plan has kept me grounded and given me the courage to keep going, even when the results weren’t immediate or guaranteed.
What’s been pivotal is knowing that the vision for Trindy Cosmetics wasn’t just mine, it was God-inspired. That reassurance gave me the strength to take bold steps and to trust the process. I also think that having a clear vision and staying true to my values have played a huge role. It’s been about making decisions that align with what I stand for and being willing to take leaps that feel necessary for growth.
While others may see the brand as successful (or semi-successful), I still view it as a work in progress. Every milestone has been meaningful and a testament to resilience, purpose, and the power of trusting Him with both the risks and the rewards.

What should our readers know about your business?
Trindy Cosmetics is a small business that specializes in handmade vegan and organic skincare and cosmetic products. We try our best not to use harsh chemicals, focusing instead on creating products that are both gentle and effective. Trindy Cosmetics is more than just a beauty brand, it’s a reflection of my journey, values, and vision. What sets Trindy apart is the intention behind every product. I’ve always believed that beauty should empower people to feel confident and cared for, and that’s the heart of everything we do.
Getting to where I am today wasn’t easy. I started this brand with faith, a vision, and determination, but there were challenges. There were moments of doubt, financial hurdles, and times when I felt like I was moving forward without seeing results. What helped me push through was my faith in God and my village. My family and friends have been constant sources of encouragement, reminding me to see every challenge as an opportunity to grow.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that progress doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s okay to make mistakes, learn, and adjust along the way. I’ve also learned the importance of staying true to my values, even when it’s tempting to cut corners or rush things.
What excites me most about Trindy Cosmetics is its potential to grow into something bigger than myself. I want the brand to be a source of inspiration, showing others that small beginnings can lead to great things. This isn’t just about selling products; it’s about creating a community where people feel seen, valued, and confident in their own skin.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m actually not from Atlanta, but I visit often and always find something new to love about the city! If my best friend came to visit for a week, I’d start by taking them to The Sipping Plant, a spot I recently discovered where you can create your own plant projects. It’s such a unique, relaxing experience.
We’d definitely spend some time at Atlantic Station. I love how it brings together a mix of small businesses and food spots. It’s the perfect place to network, and discover more small business owners. I also recently visited Ponce City Market for the first time and absolutely fell in love. The rooftop views, restaurants, and overall vibe made it one of my favorite places in Atlanta.
For some outdoor fun, because I’m an outdoor girl, we could take a walk or bike ride on the BeltLine. There’s always art to admire there. I’d also plan a day at Piedmont Park for a picnic or a festival if one was happening that week. Atlanta is so big and diverse honestly you’ll never run out of things to do. It’s just about finding places that fit YOU!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My community! Honestly, everybody in my support system deserves recognition. It’s impossible to name everyone because they’ve all poured into me in so many ways, but I’ve never felt so loved or supported. My village is like my family. We always hear that it takes a village, but the truth is, the village doesn’t stop once you’re grown. My village is just as pivotal to me now as it was when I was younger, and their encouragement continues to shape me.
I do want to highlight a few people who have been instrumental in my journey. My brother Tylor, my sister Te’Lor, and my mentor, who has recently come into my life, Kayland. They have all poured so much love and encouragement into me this year. There have been times when I’ve hit a wall with my business, moments where I’ve felt stuck and unsure of what to do next. But instead of letting me stop there, they’ve pushed me to see the wall as something I can break through. Their belief in me gives me the strength to keep going. I’m so grateful for every single person who has played a part in my story.
I also have to acknowledge my consistent customers, the real TRINDSETTERS, who feel like an extension of my village in a way. Their loyalty and belief in Trindy Cosmetics have been so encouraging, especially during challenging times. They’re a reminder that what I’m doing matters, and their support inspires me to keep going. Every single person who has played a part in my story has made an impact in some form, and for that, I’m deeply grateful.
