Hi Zeba, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Starting Go Gaga Gifts came from a deeply personal place in my life. During a time when everyone close to me seemed to be celebrating milestones, weddings, promotions, and other significant events, I found myself in constant need of the perfect gift. I wanted each present to be as special and unique as the occasion itself, but often ended up feeling overwhelmed by the options available. The stress of last-minute shopping and the disappointment of sending something impersonal and generic became all too familiar.
I remember countless times when I sent gifts that arrived in crushed paper boxes, with generic typed notes that lacked any personal touch. It was frustrating, and I knew there had to be a better way. That’s when the idea for Go Gaga Gifts was born. I saw an opportunity to transform the gifting experience, making it something joyful and meaningful rather than stressful and disappointing.
With Go Gaga Gifts, I wanted to create a service that takes the stress out of gift-giving and puts the heart back into it. My goal was to ensure that every gift, whether fully customizable or a ready-to-gift box, captured the essence of the effort and thought put into making it. I wanted each gift to reflect a personal touch and a unique sense of care and consideration.
I’ve always been incredibly passionate about gifting and the joy it brings. and have always gone the extra mile to give something perfect. Through Go Gaga Gifts, I hope to share that passion with others, helping them experience the joy and satisfaction of giving a gift that is not only special but also memorable. My vision is for Go Gaga Gifts to provide beautifully presented, thoughtfully curated gifts that truly reflect your feelings for the recipient, making every occasion feel extraordinary.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets Go Gaga Gifts apart is our relentless commitment to crafting gifts that are as unique and special as the people receiving them. We are building a brand for those who recognize and appreciate the effort and love that goes into creating the perfect gift. Our fully customizable options allow clients to provide detailed descriptions of the recipient and the occasion, taking all the stress out of gift-giving. We handle the research and curate the best possible gift, ensuring it’s perfect and hassle-free for the client.
We take immense pride in every milestone we’ve achieved. Whether it’s curating gifts for major corporations like Amazon or receiving heartfelt feedback from our customers, each moment is a reason to celebrate.
Getting to where we are today hasn’t been easy. However, I believe we are still in the early stages of our journey. Reaching our goals is a continuous process, and there’s a long, exciting road ahead. Moving to a new country and starting fresh posed its own set of challenges. Building a brand that resonates with people and ensuring they recognize the love and effort behind Go Gaga Gifts has been both challenging and rewarding. There were times of doubt and moments when things seemed overwhelming, but my passion for gifting and the support of my loved ones kept me going.
One key lesson I’ve learned is the importance of perseverance and adaptability. Each setback taught me to be more resilient and innovative.
Lastly, I want the world to know that Go Gaga Gifts isn’t just about selling products; it’s about spreading joy and creating connections through thoughtful, meaningful gifts. And yes, amidst all the hard work, I always make sure to infuse a bit of fun and love into everything we do. After all, a happy heart is at the core of Go Gaga Gifts.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We’d definitely hit Ponce City Market first – we’d grab drinks on the rooftop and play those carnival games while watching the sunset, the views are literally insane. Then we’d have to walk the BeltLine because it’s just the vibe, you know? We’d make our way down to Krog Street Market, and I swear every mural along the way is a photo op waiting to happen.
For food, we’d HAVE to go to Delbar because their Persian food is just a chef’s kiss. And when we need a sweet treat, Big Softie’s soft serve is literally to die for.
We’d definitely spend a day doing the tourist things because they’re actually so fun – the World of Coca-Cola is peak Atlanta, and the Georgia Aquarium right next door is seriously incredible.
For nights out, we’d definitely hit Establishment in Midtown the vibe is just immaculate. The Painted Duck is also a must because, like, where else can you bowl and get amazing craft cocktails? We would also need to grab the most aesthetic brunch at Le Bon Nosh – their pastries are heavenly and the space is just gorgeous.
And we’d have to spend at least one afternoon just chilling in Piedmont Park, maybe with some King of Pops, watching all the cute dogs and maybe catching one of their events.
Like honestly, this would be the perfect mix of food, drinks, and straight-up fun!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a huge shoutout to my amazing husband. When I started Go Gaga Gifts, I was single, working full-time, and often wished for someone to handle everything else so I could focus on the business. Well, my wish came true! haha. He’s been my rock, handling logistics, brainstorming ideas, and just being incredibly supportive every step of the way.
A big thank you to my family, my parents, and sister—who have been my biggest cheerleaders. My sister, especially, has been a lifesaver with her skillful photo editing, and my parents have always been there with advice and encouragement.
I also want to give a special shoutout to my beloved pet Teddy, who I lost recently. Teddy’s memory inspired me to restart Go Gaga Gifts in the US, and his spirit continues to drive me.
