We had the good fortune of connecting with George Mathews and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi George, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Any success I’ve achieved is built on several key ingredients, but the ones that stand out the most to me are patience and the willingness to embrace discomfort on what can often be a long and challenging journey. Success means different things to different people. For some, it might involve financial sacrifices in the early stages; for others, it could mean long days and nights spent doing most of the work themselves. However, once you start to see success, it’s crucial to continue putting in your best effort to keep the brand growing. I believe it’s important to never get complacent with what the business achieves. I’m always striving to elevate the patient experience and set ourselves apart from the rest.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What sets us apart is our dedication to the highest level of patient care. We focus on providing the most advanced medical treatments and therapies available while ensuring an exceptional in-office experience for our patients. Our staff undergoes continuous, rigorous training to stay at the forefront of the latest treatment protocols. Plus, we have our own patient research program, which lets us study and track our patients looking for the latest in medical advancements.

Getting to where we are today took a lot of effort, time, and patience. It hasn’t been easy, but persistence and constantly evolving have been key. In the medical field, it’s essential to stay educated on the latest advancements and breakthroughs, which we take a lot of pride in. I’ve also learned the importance of flexibility, especially with timelines. Delays with buildouts, supply shortages, and changing patient schedules happen, so being able to adjust without major issues has been really valuable.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
At some point, we’d definitely end up in a gym since a lot of my friends own the top ones around, like American Top Team Atlanta and Superfly Jiu-Jitsu in Decatur. But in terms of Georgia itself, I’d want them to experience both sides—visiting the North Georgia mountains or maybe Lake Lanier, and also spending plenty of time in the city. Atlanta has a great mix of food, art, and history, which is a lot of fun for people who haven’t experienced it. There are plenty of top restaurants in Midtown, Virginia Highlands, and Decatur, plus tons of food trucks all over the city. I’m sure some friends would also want to head over to the shops in Buckhead Village.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to give credit to my family, especially my sisters. My entire family has always been incredibly close and supportive of what I’m doing. I also have many close friends who’ve been there for me every step of the way. My success wouldn’t be possible without them in my life. A huge part of what I’ve accomplished is thanks to them and the community of people who’ve been part of my journey.
