We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Sobel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
One thing about the social media industry that outsiders are probably unaware of is just how much strategy and analysis go into every post. It’s not just about putting up a photo or a catchy caption; it’s about understanding the target audience, knowing the best times to post, tracking engagement metrics, and constantly adapting to ever-changing algorithms. At BeeViral Social Media, I spend a significant amount of time researching trends, testing different approaches, and analyzing data to ensure that each piece of content not only reaches but resonates with the right audience, driving real results for my clients.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2021 and started my career at a local full-service marketing agency as their first employee. In that role, I had the unique opportunity to help build the business from the ground up. I handled networking, social media, email marketing, some graphic design, and client communication. After two years of growing and learning, I ventured off to create my own business, BeeViral Social Media.

I love the creative side of social media marketing—crafting engaging content, brainstorming innovative campaigns, and connecting with diverse audiences. Of course, it was challenging to step out on my own. The biggest challenge was learning to balance all aspects of running a business, from client acquisition to daily operations. I overcame these challenges by staying focused, continuously learning, and building a support network of mentors and peers.

What sets BeeViral Social Media apart is our commitment to personalized service and data-driven strategies. I take the time to understand each client’s unique needs and goals, crafting custom solutions that drive real results. I’m incredibly proud of the positive feedback and the success stories from our clients. Seeing their businesses grow and knowing I played a part in that journey is incredibly rewarding.

One of the key lessons I’ve learned is the importance of adaptability. The digital landscape is always evolving, and staying ahead means being open to change and continuously developing my skills. I also learned the value of genuine connections—both with clients and within the industry.

I want the world to know that BeeViral Social Media is built on a foundation of passion, creativity, and a relentless drive to help businesses succeed. My journey has been a blend of hard work, dedication, and the support of those around me. I’m excited about the future and the endless possibilities for growth and innovation in the digital marketing space.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d make sure to give them the ultimate experience of our local gems. As a professional coffee snob, our mornings would start with visits to my favorite local coffee shops: Woodstock Coffee Company for their in house roasted and brewed espresso, Sessions Stand in Marietta for their cozy ambiance and delicious pastries, and Tinto’s in Kennesaw for their Colombian blends and friendly atmosphere.

On Saturday, we’d head to the Marietta Square Farmer’s Market to sample all the local goodies, from fresh produce to homemade treats. It’s a great place to support small businesses and enjoy the vibrant community spirit. For a fun outing, we’d take my puppy girl Rilee to Woofstock Dog Park, where she can play and we can relax in the sun.

For entertainment, a visit to MadLife Stage & Studios in Downtown Woodstock is a must. We can catch my husband drumming with his band, The Hoodlins, and enjoy some live music. The food there is delicious—I love the burgers and caprese salad!

To satisfy our sweet tooth, we’d stop by Alpine Bakery for some amazing desserts. Their cakes, cookies, and cheesecake are beautiful and delish!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a heartfelt shoutout to Briana Charles from The Purple Sprinkle Cake Shoppe, who not only creates the most amazing cakes but also recommended me for this incredible Shoutout Series opportunity. Briana, your belief in me and my business means the world. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to my husband Ethan, whose unwavering support has been the backbone of my journey as a business owner. His encouragement and belief in my dreams have been instrumental in allowing me to work for myself and build BeeViral Social Media into what it is today. Thank you both for your invaluable support and love!
