Meet Jessica Cobb | CEO of unleashing the fun for pets

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Cobb and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, what principle do you value most?
I believe the value of honesty and integrity is paramount in how I live my life, who I choose to surround myself with and how I run my business. I want people to know that what they see is what they get. There are no “secret doors” so to speak and how you conduct yourself when no one is looking should be the same as if you are surrounded by a crowd of people, staring at you.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am very proud of how far this “little pet care” business has come. When we opened the brick and mortar facility six years ago, we were putting lipstick on a pig to get it freshened up and functional to be able to open the doors. Since then, we have added so many things to make it more functional, efficient, fun and with a lot more perks for the pets we take care of, as well as our clients. I like that our clients can physically see that the money they spend gets put directly back into the business with the various updates and improvements we make every year. It’s always about making it a better experience for the pets and their humans. We want to be the “go-to” place for all the fun services and things for your pets. Dogs, especially!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For home decor or clothes shopping, I would definitely take them to The Rustic Lantern. It is a locally owner boutique in town. It is a beautiful atmosphere and a personalized shopping experience.
For food, we would go to La Parilla, a popular Mexican restaurant in town with THE best cheese dip!
For dessert, definitely Kizzy Kakes, a local bakery that is also a small business in town where they sell cupcakes, cakes, etc.
For recreation, we would go to High Falls State Park for some hiking and or wading/relaxing in the water from the falls.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family. There have been some very difficult seasons in my life personally, and I don’t know how well I would have been able to get through them without their support and encouragement. My Mom and Dad are my two biggest fans, for sure. However, we are all very close and they have always celebrated my successes and been a shoulder to cry on during the tough times.
