Our mission is to guide them on a journey of rediscovery, helping them unearth their latent passions and reclaim the sense of value that may have eluded them. At the heart of our services is a commitment to addressing the unique challenges men encounter on their personal odysseys. Tamika Johnson | Podcast Studio Owner

I launched my own podcast back in 2019 and have since hosted several additional video shows on other platforms. But after going through those experiences, I found that the main problems I had with recording audio and video were poor sound quality from both me and my guests, unstable internet, and amateurish backgrounds. I also noticed how hard it was for the typical person to edit an audio or video recording. Post-production and editing is a very technical talent that most people don’t possess. To be honest, I never would have released a single podcast episode or recording if it weren’t for my spouse and partner Darryl, who has over 30 years of experience recording and producing music. Point blank, editing is hard! Read more>>

Fanicia Howard | Juicer

The idea for JuicyQueen came about in January of 2023 after coming off a six month battle of depression and needing to rediscover my purpose and hit the reset button on my life. I had already, at that point, been juicing for myself consistently since the Pandemic three years prior, and have been a lover of juice overall since childhood. I often noticed how fresh pressed fruits and vegetables made my body respond in contrast to the sugary beverages I would consume on a daily/weekly basis from the grocery store, and I was becoming notorious for sharing and making juice recipes for my friends and some colleagues while simultaneously educating them on nutritional facts about the healing properties of the fruits and vegetables in the drinks. Aysia Johnson | Brand Strategist + Designer

AK Social kind of just fell in my lap. After I graduated college, I started working for a beauty brand which is now the largest black-owned beauty brand in Target. The rest is history! Read more>>

Sharell Abrams | Licensed Massage Therapist; Neuromuscular Therapist

During my active tenure in the Atlanta, GA women’s contact flag football community, I served as a center, responsible for blocking in front of the quarterback. Often, we found ourselves battered and bruised after games, nursing our injuries to facilitate recovery. After almost seven years of this, I realized there was an unaddressed need in the flag football community – expert warm-up and recovery assistance. This realization motivated me to pursue an education in the field. Body Language was born. Read more>>

Danielle Turner | Self-Care Advocate/Licensed Clinical Social Worker/CEO

In 2023 I took a wellness break and traveled to Bali. It was such an amazing and spiritual experience. I felt rejuvenate, rested, motivated and ready to tackle the world when I got back home. I wanted other women to feel the same way. See, I love to travel, and I am passionate about self-care. My whole brand is about the positive impact self-care has on women. So, I decided to add the two things I love, travel and wellness together and create wellness events and retreats for women. As a mental health therapist, I understand the value of self-care and holistic wellness. Read more>>

Dr. Ayanna Cummings | Owner | CEO | Principal

My business was borne of both art and necessity. When I finally incorporated by brand, I was an aspiring DEI internal practitioner with a decade or more of experience as an external DEI Consultant, Researcher, Trainer, and Specialist. I was applying to jobs and going to many interviews, but with my Academic Research & Instructional background, often got overlooked for internal roles in Corporations. But DEI was in my DNA. In fact, my Father was a Management Consultant and Urban Planner who was very active in our local communities. Read more>>
