Hi Remy, why did you pursue a creative career?
From a young age, I’ve been driven by creativity – my mom fondly recalls how I’ve always had this spark. Being a Virgo, it feels like an inherent part of who I am, allowing me to express myself uniquely and passionately through my art. This lifelong connection to creativity has guided my choice to pursue a career where I can continue to nurture and share this innate gift.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I create a warm and inviting atmosphere by being myself, allowing clients to see the real me – lots of laughs and an overall good time. Once they get a feel for who I am, I adapt to their vibe. If they’re quiet, we have quiet appointments. If it’s cocktails and music, then that’s what we do. It’s about making each visit a personalized and enjoyable experience just for them. What excites me most is seeing my clients comfortable and happy, knowing I’ve created an environment where they feel truly themselves.

I’m proud of being able to adapt and make each appointment unique, tailored to their preferences, ensuring they leave feeling relaxed and satisfied.

My journey in business involved navigating numerous challenges and setbacks, which taught me invaluable lessons and required relentless perseverance. I’ve learned to adapt, take risks, and persist despite difficulties, traits essential to progress. One surprising aspect is that most of my support often came from strangers. It’s a lonely ride at times, as those outside of the entrepreneurial world might not comprehend the unique work ethic and dedication demanded for success. Overcoming challenges in my business journey involved a combination of resilience, seeking advice from mentors, staying adaptable, and learning from failures. Additionally, maintaining a positive mindset and being open to change helped me navigate obstacles effectively.

Cultivating a strong network of mentors and peers has been invaluable, providing guidance and support. Additionally, embracing calculated risks, often with advice from this network, has been crucial for business growth and innovation.

I want the world to know that behind my brand lies a story of unwavering commitment, adaptability, and the bravery to take calculated risks. Throughout this journey, I’ve navigated the challenges within an industry under intense scrutiny, particularly while catering to clients facing
Salon PTSD. My dedication is not just to success but also to providing a safe and supportive environment amidst the complexities of the beauty industry and the needs of my clientele. My ultimate goal is to rekindle the essence of the old-school beauty industry, preserving its timeless elements while embracing the necessary advancements demanded by the new age.
