So many of the folks we work with have multidimensional stories. They often aren’t just working on a single project, business or mission – instead they are often involved in so many things all at once and so we often wonder about what they themselves hope their legacy will be about. We’ve shared some of their responses with you below.

Mrs. Sathya Wilson | Global Voice of Domestic Violence

Your legacy would be that of a compassionate and dedicated advocate for survivors of domestic violence. You would be remembered as someone who made a significant impact in the lives of those affected by such trauma, helping them not only survive but also heal and thrive. Your work would inspire others to take action and create positive change in the lives of survivors, leaving a lasting impact on the community and society as a whole. Miguel Juarez | President, Columbus Jazz Society

If I can help it, I would want my legacy to be the love that I gave during my lifetime. I would rather that people benefit from the work I put in this world than be remembered as “someone”. Serving as president of The Columbus Jazz Society, which is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, has humbled and taught me so much about the value of personal sacrifice, investing in ideas, and connecting with one’s community. Tamara Abrosimova | Actor, animal adversary, writer, stunt performer

I want people to remember me for my fearlessness, ambition, and risk-taking. I want to be remembered as a caring and kind person, too. In terms of my legacy, I want my children and grandchildren to have a better life than I did. I want them to have more than I did, but not so much that they become spoiled. I also want my legacy to be about kindness to animals. I’m a big animal advocate and believe that they should be treated as equals. I don’t want the world to remember me just by my pretty face, because that’s what I am known for. I want them to remember my intelligence, my heritage, my kindness, my open- mindness… Read more>>

Kaison Jacobs | Artist/Creative & Entrepreneur

What do I want my legacy to be? I want to be able to leave an impact on today’s society when it comes to things. My love language is acts of service, so my trait is doing things for others and utilizing my time wisely. I’ve always had a thing of giving back and helping others which I want to start a worldwide homeless shelter organization that house homeless people & provide multiple resources for them such as getting them mentally and physically back in shape, strengthen their core abilities, provide housing, help find employment for themselves, and more. I also want to give back to several charity organizations and fund education for those who aren’t financially able. Read more>>
