We had the good fortune of connecting with Franchesca and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Franchesca, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind my success is God. Trusting God, believing in God and being obedient to Him. Knowing that the Lord spoke clearly to me regarding my calling and purpose here on earth, I knew He would see fit to open doors for me. Most of the success we’ve seen resulted from having faith. In the moment we may have not had the resources to accomplish the task at hand, but we knew we just had to take God at His word and He would make a way. And, He DID!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Sharing my testimony of where God has brought me from in transparency, has been one of the things that has set me apart from others. Most of the artists in my field may not be as open about that but I truly feel it’s made a difference in the way listeners and my audience connects with me. I got to where I am today by putting pen to the paper, by putting pedal to the metal and not looking back. I spoke earlier about God calling me to this space. I took that Word and ran with it. It definitely hasn’t been easy. As a creative and artist doing artistry and ministry the way we are you have to overcome a lot. You have to overcome your shortcoming and insecurities. I had to understand that those were the very things that God will use to speak to others through myself. A lesson in this all that I’ve learner along the way is that what I have been called to is bigger than myself. We’ve received amazing testimonies about how peoples lives, mindsets and desires are changing all through a song or lyrics. That is mind blowing that the Lord would see fit to do a new thing through us. It’s also very humbling and eye opening. So, the lesson learned is, it’s clear that it’s bigger than me. People need to feel God’s love, they need to see it, they need to hear it. Understanding that means we have to keep going! We can’t let up.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I will always include my husband when giving credit or recognition, Although his work is very much so behind the scenes, it’s because of those things that have helped tremendously on this journey. A lot of the things that I never even considered doing he would be the one would bring it to my attention. He’s always doing research and finding new ways to network and find success in our field of work. He books the studio time, he’s always coming up with innovative ideas and immerses me with support and encouragement. He works diligently to make sure we fulfill the call of God on our lives through the music ministry. Being completely honest, i may have not seen the revelation of what God is doing and is going to do through what we’re doing if it wasn’t for him. I’m forever grateful for all He pours into myself and the vision.
