We had the good fortune of connecting with Georgia LAWrence and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Georgia, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is fulfilling my purpose and spending quality time with my family. I need to feel like I have a good work/life balance. I wouldn’t be happy working if I feel stressed and overworked hence the reason why I work in an area that I am truly passionate about. I also need time off to recharge both mentally and physically and enjoy my life outside of work and there is no greater feeling like spending quality time with my two boys Elihu and Elizar. Normally, we hike in the Georgia Mountains, visit the beaches in Florida, or travel to new places.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
As an attorney, my main goal is to help Immigrants navigate the immigration system from the beginning with minimal complication. I believe in living a life based on her purpose which is that of serving. As such my approach to practicing law mirrors my belief and I take great pleasure in serving others in my professional practice.
What sets me apart from other attorneys are the open and personal communication with our clients. One of the main problematic feedback I hear of in the legal profession is unresponsiveness from attorney due to the nature of the work and heavy workload. In our firm, we ensure responsiveness through different means where clients and potential clients have access to the attorney, not just the secretary or a paralegal.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The state of Georgia is a world in itself worth exploring. On a weeklong trip I would visit the soaring northern mountains and scenic state parks. Anna Ruby falls and Amicalola Falls State Park are two of my favorite nature spots. I also enjoy the beaches in South Georgia, Jekyll Island is one of my top spots.
There are a myriad activities in the cities like Atlanta. There are attractions like the World of Coca Cola, Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site and the aquarium. These are normally places I like to explore with visitors in town.
There are great culinary traditions that offers great food. I would visit Gocha’s Breakfast Bar, Old Country steakhouse, and Cirque Daiquiri Bar & Grill. These are a few of my favorite spots.
I also enjoy massages, body contour services with wood therapy so we would most definity visit Belle Toi LLC.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Iona Gray – my grandmother
She has always been a source of strength and encouragement for me to keep going in all areas of my life.
