We had the good fortune of connecting with Sean Grady and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sean, how has your work-life balance changed over time?
Well I always try and make time for me because its easy to lose yourself in your dreams. It’s change over time because In the beginning I lost focus of my mental health, having fun and taking time for myself. So I take at least an hour a day to myself just to reflect, refresh and reset so I don’t become too overwhelmed with what’s going on surrounding me.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
As an employee I was always in competition with other employees which made me work on my craft everyday. Anybody that know me knows that once I decide to start something I’m going all in. Meaning I want to be number one at that job. I always wanted to be the one everyone praises when the job was done and I was. That mindset carried on to professional career also. I want to be number one in Atlanta and that’s what I’m looking to do.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout my favorite chef Marjorie Cadet. She showed me that there’s more to being a chef than cooking. I also would like to recognize Marlo Harris for taking that leap of faith.
My mother/father Diane Grady and Thurman Grady for unknowingly putting me on to this path.
