We had the good fortune of connecting with Rich Tenor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Rich, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with my idea of Clearbridge Properties when I seen the lack of understanding between traditional and non traditional real estate. How we assist our clients, structure deals, and communicate with each was a on going problem. I decided to form Clearbridge to assist with bridging the gap between the to real estate worlds.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Sure. Well my company, Clearbridge properties primarily focuses on single family residential real estate. We know that finding affordable housing is so vital to building a good foundation. We also help provide answers for clients that have any unforeseen matters that forces them to sell their properties for whatever the situation is and that is our niche.
I’m always most proud and excited of helping underserved families in the various real estate markets I do business in. Most of the time the families I assist do not have the access or the finances to navigate through the issues regarding their real estate properties.
I was able to get where I am in business today by educating myself with my very first real estate job when I was 23 years old. While I got my start by working in the Mortgage industry at a call center back in New Jersey, I became very interested in the mortgage process. I then got promoted to become a mortgage case manager within the company. Soon after that, I was able to see and understand the process and fell in love with real estate ever since and here I am now!
I quickly found out the hard way that nothing was easy for me. I had to constantly educate and dedicate myself to get to where I am today. With the position I am in today I have learned the best lesson that was taught to me from a mentor of mine, He always told me to trust but verify. Someone can provide you with something that they do or specialize in and its ok to trust what they are telling you, but to always verify!
The world should know my brand and story came from a young man who stepped into his greatness when he finally began to see the greatness within himself . Finally after all this time, he pushed away seeking validations from others to become known as the powerful man I see looking back at me in the mirror.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
For a week long trip I will to take them to Stone mountain to view the beautiful view of the park and amazing view from the top of the mountain. Sight see on the beltline. Head over to get some seafood at the Oceanaire seafood room, Visit World coca cola and Botanical Garden.
Additional must see places will be Atlanta Civil Rights Museum, Ponce City Market, Krog street tunnel and The Hard Rock cafe.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Kito Johnson bought a lot of inspiration to my Real estate journey.
