We had the good fortune of connecting with Miranda Calatrello and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Miranda, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When considering starting my own business, I looked for council from friends and family who were entrepreneurs themselves. While discussing my dream to move away from the traditional corporate work structure to a more self-employed approach, I noticed that there was a gap in the marketplace. These entrepreneurs were in desperate need of marketing support that did not involve large retainers or a generic marketing approach. The inspiration for Calatrello Creatives was soon developed thereafter – to create a boutique social media agency whose mission was to support fellow small business owners in their marketing endeavors.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Calatrello Creatives is a white-glove, full service social media agency ready to support your brand.
Comprised of a highly trained and dedicated team, we work hands-on with a variety of small business clients world-wide. We are results-driven at our core and work to combine our diverse expertise into creating one singular holistic digital marketing strategy for your brand. While, social media marketing is our *bread & butter*, we also provide additional services such as email marketing and graphic design.
How can we help?
As a white-glove, full-service social media marketing agency, our team works to not only understand your goals, but also provides a seamless roadmap to achieve them. Our holistic approach to digital marketing allows for us to expand beyond the world of social media.
Our agency is meant to fit all business budgets both small and large! We work carefully to craft a package or hourly pricing based on your brands current needs. We hope you consider us for your part-time marketing support role.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
There is so much to do an see in Atlanta, but if I were to make a personalized itinerary for an out of state friend, it would look a little bit like this.
Breakfast – Daily Chew ATL
Lunch – Le Bon Nosh
Happy Hour – Chateau Elan
Dinner – Bastone
Dessert – The Yard
Activities – ATL Aquarium, Ponce City Market
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to shoutout a series of fellow small business mentors who have helped council and guide me in my entrepreneur journey. Specifically, I would like to thank Pam Bauer with Elevate ExP for her continued growth in my personal and professional development. Her insights into her niche industry as well as her approach to networking has truly expanded my skillsets. I would also like to thank Jordan Hosey with Housed by Hosey (HBH Realty) for her professional mentorship. She is a serial female-founder who continues to inspire me to strive for more in myself and in my business. She is routinely “building outside the box” *literally* and it’s a pleasure being able to be working beside her.
