We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Hernandez Park and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jessica, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
In order to become a recognizable brand , the product or experience must have consistent and satisfying results. Customers want to know what to expect from their experience. Developing a level of trust about your brand will yield higher sales as customers will be more confident in referring your business to friends and family.

We’ve taken the feedback of our customers seriously. If we get good feedback it encourages us to do better however if the feedback requires us to improve we make the necessary changes. In addition we are constantly training and getting better at our craft. It is important that customers know that we are prepared to give the best advice.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The most challenging part about starting a new business is the ability to market. You can not rely solely on friends and family to support and grow your business. Finding the right marketing strategy can be costly and frustrating. I personally went through six different marketing companies just on the first year wasting ten of thousands of dollars.

The second challenge is finding and retaining the right people to follow through with your vision. Everyone is going to give you their best self during an interview. Time will reveal character flaws which is why I recommend using recruiting tools to help you determine who will be a good fit. If someone is not a fit it is best to let the go early on and cut your losses. The customer experience and moral of the team has to be a priority.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would pick up my friend from the airport and take them for lunch to the Latin restaurant called “Super Pan” at the Battery. After lunch we would hang out and check out the Battery shops. After lunch we’ll head out to our med spa “Park Ave Cosmetic Center” for a relaxing glass of champagne followed by a hydro facial. After achieving our skin glow we’d take a walk to the “Roswell Mill” for some fun pictures by the waterfall. As sunset sets we are headed off to downtown Alpharetta where we would check in at the Hamilton hotel for a fun speak easy night of drinks and dancing.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate this shout out to my husband and business partner Jason Park. The success of our busines and the production of our reality show “Med Spa Life Atlanta” could not have happened without him. His genius in film making has created a great marketing advantage.
