We had the good fortune of connecting with Bella Kash and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bella, how does your business help the community?
I use a unique hands on approach to teach a community of youth and adults alike that had no idea the dream of dance was possible. I help them dream bigger then their surroundings. Putting the community students on platforms to be properly trained and exposed to have a chance to go for their BIG DREAMS. Building confidence, teaching real world work ethic, discipline, and social skills
By creating opportunities for the youth and local families, giving the city something positive to represent the city has proven to have a positive outcome overall.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I was adopted, unfortunately I wasn’t granted the happily eve after story. Much like most kids in the system we don’t have resources to gain access to opportunity like most family’s can provides. Struggling with mental health, social environment and trying to stay motivated to do the work that needed to be done. I heard somewhere “you already know the outcome if you quit. Imagine the outcomes if you keep going!” I had to deep and give it one last HELL MARY.
I truly come from the nothing and I had no control over that. However I do have control over this portion of my life and I will give myself everything I deserve. Along with helping others like myself. That is the real success story.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I personally love out door stuff. So hiking so at Stone Mountain, any pop up concerts around the city. ATL Botanical Garden. I love the outdoor safari. And Ifly
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate this to one of my biggest supporters and mother like mentor Gail Chappell. I met her during a time in my life where I had lost all sense of direction and as a young teen mom, with no mother (bio mom passed when I was 9). I so desperately needed guidance because I had given up on myself. She put me in therapy and allowed me the experiment with trying different paths to find what was truly my calling. Supporting me and allowing me to make mistakes without judgment. Providing me with brut and honest counsel along the way. A women who will give the shirt off her back and will tell you how it is (out of love of course ). I truly believe she was a blessing I needed sent by my MOM in heaven.
