Hi Carl, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
at first like most people it was just a side hustle ..try to make a little extra money on the side …but as i kept going i( being that i already love cooking) and being that there’s not a lot of decent haitian caterers it just ran. with it
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
right now it’s still a work in progress..every day it’s a battle to wanna keep going to not wanna give up…but the when u see the reaction of the patron who orders or the shock look in their fave when they realize that it was me that made everything ( not most young haitian cook ) then i feel accomplished..that’s when i feel like yea i made the right choice …doubt is the biggest thing when trying to start your own business..i fight doubt every day doubt in myself my craft ….but i push through i love what i do show people that haitian food is more than just black rice and griot ( fried pork) lol
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
so living in nyc there is a plethora of places to go ..growing up i didnt really explore he social life of ny so as i’m older now i really just go on apps and groupons and things like that to set a night out in the town lol ..i

my mother .. she taught me everything i know..she’s the true meaning of hard work dedication and hustle…
