We had the good fortune of connecting with Ryan Gil and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ryan, career-wise, where do you want to be in the end?
That’s, a great question because we have plans for expansion that are very exciting to us. Right now, we function primarily as an event photography service provider to to the Atlanta area, but we’re also planning to expand into a full scale media production. Within the next 5 years we plan on having several short films produced. Not only that, but we are already making plans for a very big entry the Web 3.0 marketplace with an exciting new NFT project that we have on the horizon. For now we’re going to have to keep it a secret though. We are more than an event photography service provider. Producing creative media for the pleasure of our audiences is at the core of whatever we at The Orion Creative Company do.

What should our readers know about your business?
One thing that I think sets us apart from others is our unique approach to visual storytelling. We approach every project as a full scale creative production, seeing it from the planning stage to production then post. Our slogan is “Creativity Reimagined” which encapsulates the approach that we bring to each project whether it’s event photography or video production. We take pride in our approach to challenging the traditional conventions of creativity. This is why I’m so excited about what is to come from our company

We got where we are today by being committed to providing quality service and constantly reinvesting our resources into company expansion. It wasn’t easy because this strategy can increase a company’s burn rate, which can be a threat to its financial stability, so at each opportunity to reinvest there has also been an urge to save funds. Ultimately, I continue to settle on a very aggressive reinvestment strategy for the sake delivering the most quality imagery to our clients. It is through providing these high quality services that we can rely on gaining the business necessary to sustain that growth. The fact that I can rely on that type of growth through the quality and reliability of our services is what I’m most proud of.

I’ve learned so much along the way. But I would say the most valuable lesson that I’ve learned, by far, is the value of doubling-down on the investment that you make in yourself. If you aren’t going to invest in yourself then why should anyone else?

I would like the world to know that The Orion Creative Company is proud to be Atlanta’s Top Choice for event photography. We specialize in Photographing Corporate & Lifestyle Events, Weddings, Professional Headshots, & Family Portraiture. And we have so much more to come that we are thrilled to be bring to you!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would definitely have to find some hiking trails, Stone Mountain has always been one of my favorite places to go for a hike and I think is a great starting point for outdoor-lovers visiting Atlanta. Next we’d have to go hang out at the Atlanta Beltline. Its a great place to meet people have a few drinks and grab a bite to eat. I’m a big fan of competitive games, so top golf is a personal favorite of mine. I’m also interested in trying axe throwing and Bad Axe Throwing and would like to try that. For nightlife I like seeking out live music, so we would definitely have to catch a concert since events are now coming back in full post-pandemic swing. Or if we choose to go a more low-key route we can always find an open mic night to go to in the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There most definitely are a few notable names I’d like to mention as being a huge contribution to my success. Firstly, I have to give my Father-God the credit. It’s only through his workings within me that I was able to begin the undertaking of this enterprise. Secondly, I’d like to thank my family for their support, love and encouragement. Last, but most definitely not least, is my friend Julius Grimes at Kreativ Touch Group, he has been a mentor to me in ways that is beyond his knowledge. He is amongst the most professional and honorable men that I know, not just in his business practice but in life as well.
