We had the good fortune of connecting with Kacey High and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kacey, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I have always been passionate about designing and creating, whether it’s creating paint nights for my family, or making flyers and invites for friends. When I realized I could take it and make it a business, it was a no brainer. I provide high quality branding to small businesses, from logos to websites, to social media start ups and revamps.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kace by Kace Branding is all about transforming visions into reality, one client at a time with creative and unique designs. I’ve been in business for over six years. When I started out, I didn’t have the knowledge about how to successfully run a business. It took business classes, workshops, and experience. I’ve learned you can never stop honing your craft. You can learn something new every day.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would definitely take them to the aquarium. It’s one of my favorite places to go. We would go to the Trap Museum and the Girls in the Hood Selfie Museum. Slush is a must and Boho Gal Shoppe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my wife! She is my biggest supporter through everything I do. No matter how many ideas I throw at her, she’s there to support me or let me know that it’s not a good idea. I appreciate everything she does for me and my ventures.
