Hi Simms, what are you inspired by?
I am inspired by those who came before me who were not able to artistically express themselves with such freedoms that I currently have today.
I also aim inspired by the fact that I believe we all have a specific calling and duty that we must contribute to the world, If this were not the case I would be blessed to posses some of the gifts that I posses.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My name is Simms Serenade My passion and purpose is Simply Impacting more motivating society and I’m an Motivational Performer, my messages are designed to inspire creativity, personal development and discuss the importance of community. My performances combine story-telling, acting, and music with thoughtful lessons designed to charge and engage the audience.
I am most proud that I was able to start and finish my first Best selling Children’s novel titled, “Whats the Biggest Nation in the world.”
I’ve gotten this far thus far by simply adhering to what my mother would say growing up, ” Failure follows those who fail to follow through, Learn to play the game or the game surely will play you.
I had to adapt and adjust when necessary, Ive learned to accept the challenges that come with the process of reaching success and or chasing a dream.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The painted duck is a pretty dope place to have fun, the new stadium area is also pretty nice called the Battery. Food wise Im taking my folks to tassels , SLuty vegan, or Milk and Honey.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Unconditional Love from The Alpha Male, My Father worked his But off, growing up my siblings and I never knew the challenges and struggles he faced, he would get the job done to make sure we had the essential things to survive. He introduced me to celebrities like Sidney Poitier and Tupac shakur. Although I never had a chance to physically meet either of the two, their two different energies had a lasting influence on my life.
