Meet Debra Taylor | Event Planner & Business Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Debra Taylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Debra, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to impact and help as many business professionals as I can because I have been in the business for a few years and experienced the struggles in building a successful business. Seeing amazing people with skills and talents but lacking the knowledge and information needed to grow the business became a passion of mine. I knew then that I wanted to teach others the road map to success.

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart from others is not being money driven but driven by the success of those that I mentor and coach. Seeing them all the way through the process of building a successful business.
I am most proud of my business because it really taught me what faith over fear looks like and I am so excited for what God has prepared for me and my family.
I got to where I am today by trusting the vision and the plan praying about it and then taking action towards it. It was not easy at all many obstacles along the journey a lot of breaks in between but surrounded with the right circle got me through
The lessons that I’ve learned was every great idea or vision takes time to grow you don’t see results right away or even midway through the journey but being patient, trusting the vision and skills that God has given you will get you your greatest reward.
Always remember to celebrate your wins no matter how big or small.
I want the world to know that at one point I almost give up because the journey was too rough and at times I didn’t think I could take another hit everything that could go wrong went wrong I was at my lowest and couldn’t see my way I didn’t think success was my portion but God reminded me of who I am and that I was created to succeed.
I am a wife, mom of 4 amazing children, publisher & editor of enVisioned magazine Wedding & Event Planner of Taylor Made Planning, motivational speaker and Business Coach of Premiere Planners Experience
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Usually when I’m in Atlanta it’s for events that I’m hosting or attending so I’m not to sure of my favorite places

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shout out would be my family they have supported me from day one through there encouraging words, prayer, finically, working along side with me and watching the kids while I handle business.
