We had the good fortune of connecting with Lukas Babusak and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lukas, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Building habits revolving around networking, perseverance & commitment have helped me achieve the relative success that I have.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My adventure into the real estate industry began during my freshman year of college at Georgia State University; I pursued my real estate license whilst taking a full-time workload of college classes. After obtaining my Georgia real estate license, I immediately began working part-time at a commercial real estate company based here in Atlanta. Fast forward to a couple of other commercial real estate internships and commercial real estate-related full-time jobs during college, I eventually came across the opportunity in August of 2019 to venture into the world of residential real estate sales.
The first 5-6 months were tough and because I never worked within the residential world of real estate, these were months of me absorbing as much information as I could while also realizing that I had to start closing deals to provide for myself and my family.

During those early months into this industry, I focused on planting the right seeds, with the right people and at the right places. I made it a mission to ensure my family, friends, and their family/friends knew that if they ever needed a Realtor, that I will always be there for them.

Now, what was/is different about me and my team compared to every other Realtor here in Atlanta? That’s always the question in any industry, and I made sure I showed my quality of service through action because as we all know, “actions speak louder than words”. Our high-quality service has transpired into stellar client reviews and referrals in a relatively short amount of time.

The mindset and culture I have been curating for years enabled me to assist 31 families in buying or selling a home in 2020. Being only 23 at the time, it was truly a remarkable feeling to have earned the trust of friends, family, and individuals I didn’t initially know but had met through the wonders of online marketing campaigns.

Today, I’m just a few days away from my 25th birthday and am loving every minute of this industry, and the lifestyle it enables you to have. It’s a lifestyle of being in control of each day and in order to succeed, you must get up every day to provide value and service to your community. The value and service that you provide truly equates to your successes in this rapidly changing Industry.

As the sales and growth trajectory soared, my business partner and I had brought on 2 other agents and formally established the Babusak Atlanta Group. We all have the vision to grow together as a team and in tandem with the city and our communities for the greater good.

If the Babusak Atlanta Group can be of service to you, your friends, or your family with any of your real estate needs, we would love to help!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
This is a tough one because the team seems to go out way too often! lol. If I had a friend come in for the weekend, here’s a small list of places we’d go to eat, drink and visit.

Eat & Drink: Taverna & Gipsy Kitchen @ the Shops of Buckhead; Eight Sushi Lounge and Bar Taco (W Midtown & Inman Park); MF Sushi @ Inman Park. Rumi’s Kitchen. Then, I can’t forget about some of my favorites in Gwinnett County: Shoya Izakaya, Miss Gogi Korean BBQ, and lastly, Spice it Up Caribbean in Peachtree Corners.

Now, all of these places have a great bar, so I’d probably order my usual Espresso Martini and then begin with (depending on the season) mules, cocktails, etc… I must note, I’m from the Czech Republic, so beer is in my blood, but I’ll order beer mainly when its origins are from Europe.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have been blessed by the grace of God to have come across individuals throughout my life who have genuinely wanted to be there for me at various stages of my life. I give great credit to each of those individuals because each one of them contributed to teaching me how to shape myself personally and professionally. In turn, this equipped me to compute each level of input from others and allowed me to uniquely curate who I wanted to become.
