We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashton Reynolds and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashton, what matters most to you?
Accountability. Along with discipline and transparency, these three intangibles work as a cohesive unit to ensure that you are prepared to handle the upcoming obstacles that are attached to success. Indeed, everyone has the general idea of success embedded in their mind as something that all aspires to achieve, but the process separates those who truly want it from those who only talk about it. If you want it, you have accepted the challenge to truly discover and live out your purpose. That single choice is the kickstart to the vision that has been entrusted in your possession that must be carried out. Accountability allows you to assess your mental, physical, and spiritual state so that you’re able to make sure that you are operating on all cylinders, solve issues before they become problems, and do reality checks on yourself to make sure that you are not lying to yourself. With my business and being the visionary, reality checks are a must in all aspects of both my life and my business. A level head cause for sound judgement when dealing with personal and business affairs. That way, I can bypass and avoid self afflicting obstacles and continue to work and progress while being a work in progress. I must continue to grow to get to where I have to go.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Within my company, Blessed Koast Enterprises LLC, I took every single gift that I’ve cultivated and utilize them to spread positivity and the truth in an authentic manner with the intent to change the world. One thing that I’ve learned throughout the years is that no one makes it by themselves. Another thing that I’ve learned is that when you prepare for the opportunities, then you will be ready for the opportunities. Every single gift, from writing to comedy, music to basketball, speaking to producing, have allowed me to be ready to host my own radio show on WCEG Network (Thank you Ms. Pennye Rodgers), create music, perform and host numerous shows, tours, become a basketball coach, produce and direct short films and sketches, write books and manuscripts for future movies and shows, etc. Pair that up with the business mindset and wisdom instilled in me by my parents and every single businessman and woman that I’ve networked with, i have been able to execute my business plan the way I wanted to in the timeframe that I created. Indeed, I have been met with challenges, but just like in life, you have a choice. A choice to quit or persevere. Once again, I cannot emphasize accountability enough. Being responsible for such a huge vision, I must double check every move for clarity, and to reassure that each move was a prosperous one no matter if it’s for monetary gain or not. When it’s all said and done, I want my brand and story to show people two things. I want people to see the levels that hard work, applied faith, and preparation can help you reach. Secondly, I want people to understand that you can still have fun and enjoy life as a child of God. The inheritance that you receive from Him are the essential tools needed to build up the inner you to withstand the troubles of the world.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I am an avid basketball lover. So of course, we’re hitting up a basketball gym for a good run of games. After that, since I’m a movie buff, the theatre is a must. Also, either Dave And Busters, an Atlanta Falcons or Hawks game, O’Charleys, the Varsity, and other restaurants are a must. Finally, we come back to my house for a night of comedy, laughter, video games, late night snacks, possibly another late night basketball run, Prayer, content creation, and do it all over again the next day. Maybe not in that particular order, but majority would get done again.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, God must get all of the glory, honor, and credit. Without Him waking me up to another day to bestow upon me the opportunity to live out my purpose, I would not be here. I must recognize my brothers Wildon Reynolds, William Lowe, Clint. My parents, Sylvester and Yolanda Reynolds. My church Living Faith Tabernacle. . I also must shout out my incredible fiancé and business partner Takaia Wills, who is the CEO of her own Health and Fitness business called Fit2Gether Movement LLC. Finally, my other business partner and CEO of CoreLink Opportunities LLC. I must recognize my alma mater Forest Park High School, and my home county, Clayton County for the Opportunities to do great work in the community. It’s too many people to thank, like Gwen Dennis for enhancing my vocabulary and literary skills. Too many to name but I love and thank them all the same.
