We had the good fortune of connecting with Amy Pazahanick and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amy, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Agape Tennis Academy was created to positively affect as many people as possible through creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive culture where everyone in the community can go. Agape means Unconditional Love in Greek and this speaks to the culture and environment we create at the tennis academy. Tennis is our vehicle to make the world a better place. Agape has managed semi-private, private, and public tennis centers. There is an unmistakable positive energy and passion that fills every tennis court that Agape manages. As a staff everyone on the team should feel like they are part of a family. Everyone is made to feel welcome, included, safe, and should be comfortable to share and express ideas that will help move the company forward. In one word what separates Agape more than any other tennis academy is that we CARE. We care about each other, our students, our community, and our greater society in a deep way. This level of care should be unmistakable, an identifying mark, and ultimately the reason behind the success of the company.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our core values: HEART, Honesty, Excellence, Attitude, Responsibility, Teamwork are what set us apart the most. This is something that all of our coaches and staff embody and teach to our junior students. We embody these core values and our customers can really feel how much we care about them. We are proud of the thousands of students lives we have impacted through tennis by giving them a happier and healthier lifestyle and mindset. We are proud of the successes on and off the courts that our students have produced. Many of junior students have gone on to play college tennis and have earned scholarships. Most importantly, we believe our students have been positively influenced by our culture and that this will help make them be more successful in life. Agape has built its reputation on a referenceable and reproducible business model that helps our clients grow their community reputation and revenue. Based on our extensive experience managing tennis center operations, we have developed best practices and a manual of standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are transferable to public and private tennis facilities. Our SOPs include business systems and processes and are granular to the level of staff recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, Club Automation user education, and extensive programming guidelines for all ages and groups of players. We are confident in our methods as they have proven successful over time.

24 Hours in Atlanta Le Petite Marche for Breakfast City Capital Building Downtown to check out the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and specifically learn about Atlanta’s strong involvement in the Civil Rights Movement Martin Luther King, Jr Historical Park Then stroll along the Beltline from Old Fourth Ward up to Ponce City Market and finish in Piedmont Park Stop for lunch at Ponce City Market – perhaps at 9 Mile Station with rooftops views of the City Enjoy a nice dinner in Midtown after strolling through Piedmont Park Babette’s Cafe for the best French food in Atlanta
